It is said that my Great X2 Grandparents names, Pehr (Peter) Hansson Borg 1805-1875 and Ingar (Ingri) Jonsson 1812-1878, are engraved on this monument. This monument was placed in Mt. Pleasant to honer the earlier pioneers of the area. P.H. Borg and Sons was one of the first business in Mt. Pleasant.
