New software

Sence 2001 I've used two database software to help keep track of our research. Program #1 is Family Search's Personal Ancestral File (PAF) and program #2 has been Family Tree Legends (FTL). FTL has been a good program except for one thing. I've lost contact with Pearl Street Software and that means no support. No support for thier website, GenCircles, and the software. After one year with zero support I've went for a change. My choice after looking at many programs is Roots Magic and it has been a good choice. If you are looking for a genealogy software program there is two I would recommend. PAF5 has always worked well for me. RootsMagic4 sofar is doing a great job and there is plenty of support out there for this program. There is a blog for Roots Magic 4 that might enterest the reader, http://blog.RootsMagic.com .
